Dr. Francis Jr. S. Samdao is currently an Assistant Professor of Theology at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as the Officer-in-Charge for the Office of the Associate Dean at ABGTS-Philippines during AY 2024–2025.

He is the Assistant Editor of the World Evangelical Alliance's theological journal, Evangelical Review of Theology, and Editorial Assistant of the Philippine Journal of Religious Studies. 
His research interests include Karl Barth, Indigenous Theology, and Ethnohistory. 
He is happily married to Shilo Rose Tacay-Samdao.
